There are three positive effects of joining a work and travel program on students. One effect is learning new culture. When students join a work and travel program, theyhave a job. As a result of this, they will probably make new friends and spend their time with them. For example, they may go shopping, cinema or historical place together. This leads to learning their customs and beliefs. Therefore, students will probably learn new culture. Another effect is language skills improvement. Students communicate a lot of people when they work so, they may do speaking practice. This results in language skill improvement. Yet another effect is working life experience. Students who join a work and travel program work different jobs. Owing to this, they may learn new skills and have new qualifications. Therfore, they will probably have working life experience. To conclude, if students join a work and travel program, they might learn new culture, improve their language skills and have a working life experience.
